Mizoram pay committee constituted
Pay hike.
AIZAWL: The Speaker of Mizoram Legislative Assembly has constituted the Assembly Pay Committee for the Secretariat of Mizoram Legislative Assembly based on Rule 4 of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1995 consisting of the following members:
Chairman, Estimates Committee – Chairman
(Pu Nirupam Chakma)
Minister of Parliamentary Affairs – Member
(Pu Lalsawta)
Chairman, Public Accounts Committee – Member
(Pu B. Lalthlengliana)
Chairman, Committee on Public Undertakings – Member
(Lt. Col. Z.S. Zuala)
Pu Lalduhawma, MLA – Member
The Secretary of Mizoram Legislative Assembly would be associated with the Committee
The functions of the Committee shall be to advise the Speaker on changes that are considered desirable in the structure of pay and allowances of the Officers and all categories of Staff in the context of the decisions of the Government of Mizoram on the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission. The Committee will make their recommendations to the Speaker as early as possible
