Mizoram: Independence Day timings

Independence DayAizawl: Unlike the previous year, the ensuing Independence Day falling on the next Sunday will be celebrated in the early morning hours.
In Aizawl, the celebration will begin at 7:30 in Assam Rifles Parade ground in which the Chief Minister, Mr. Lal Thanhawla will unfurl the national flag and take salute of 28 contingents comprising armed, unarmed and schools.
In Saiha, Lawngtlai and Champhai, the function will begin at 7:30 while it will starts at 7 in Lunglei, Kolasib and Mamit.
In all the District Hqrs., Ministers will grace the function except in Lunglei were the Deputy, Mr. John Rotluangliana will be the chief guest.
