Aizawl bundh on July 15, 2010.
Aizawl: Mizoram Road Transport Union (MRTU) called for Chakka Bundh in Aizawl town area for all commercial vehicles on the 15th of this month from 4 a.m to 6 p.m.
A decision to this effect was taken at the joint meeting of transport operators in Mizoram Truck Owners Association Office, Bawngkawn on July 9.
MRTU President, Mr. R. Lalhmunmawia said, the chakka bandh is to be organized in protest against hike in the price of petrol and diesel oil and bad road all over the state except the new World Bank Road between Aizawl and Lunglei.
