Octopus Paul right, Spain win World Cup 2010
Spain takes on Holland in the World Cup final.
Call it luck or fate, the prediction of Paul the psychic octopus is correct once again.
The Spaniards have won the World Cup 2010 after a hard-fought battle defeating The Netherlands with 1-0 when Andres Iniesta scored in extra time. (Cast your vote below:- Should Paul be set free?)
The game was marked by fouls, abusive languages and a number of yellow cards. However, the Spaniards have control over the ball even though they failed to net the ball pass the Dutch goal on many occasion.
What an event it was, World Cup 2010 will be remembered for many things:- the annoying vuvuzelas, under-dogs taking away the cup and of course Paul, the psychic German octopus.
But most of all, people across the globe are looking at Paul’s future. Will the Netherlands fans take him down or will he be freed as demanded by animal rights activists.
The real hero of 2010 Football World Cup seems to be Paul, the Octopus!!! And maybe FIFA should give him a reward for taking such interest in football.
