Drive to evict substitues.
Aizawl: Mizoram Government servants who engaged substitutes were summoned on June 7 by DP&AR Additional Secretary, Mr. Lalthansanga.
The objective was to know the nature of their problems.
The Government servants or their substitutes were given a chance to explain in person the nature of their problems which compel them to engage substitutes.
According to official sources, there are 62 government servants in 15 Departments who still engaged substitutes till today.
Earlier the government had instructed all the department heads to stop engagement of substitutes by mutual arrangement.
