Vuvuzela tops World Most Annoying Sounds List

It’s Official! The vuvuzela is the world’s N0.1 worst sound producer.
Time Magazine has come up with the list of the World’s Top 10 Most Annoying Sounds and to nobody’s surprise the vuvuzela, the plastic trumpet, has topped the list.
“Vuvuzelas have been all the buzz at the 2010 World Cup, but not in a good way. The incessant beehive sound created by the long plastic instruments has saturated entire stadiums, indiscriminately drowning out players trying to coordinate strategy, sportscasters trying to call plays and fans trying to cheer on their team,” the magazine said in its report.
The international magazine selection surprisingly puts ‘snoring’ at No. 8 inferring it is a much more pleasant sound to bear. So, just take it easy even if someone says, “you snore while you’re asleep”. Know this, you are better than the vuvuzela.
