Training on health care scheme held in Aizawl

Aizawl: Training on Mizoram State Health Care Scheme and Rastryiya Swasthya Bima Yojana was held in Chanmari YMA Hall, Aizawl on June 11.
Addressing the training, the Health Minister Mr. Lalrinliana Sailo said, three private hospitals, Presbyterian Hospital, Durtlang, Baptist Hospital, Serkawn and Seventh Day Adventist Hospital in Nisarihtlang, Aizawl have accepted the rate package made by the Government.
He however regretted non-acceptance of the rate package by other private hospitals in the State.
The Minister also said that the Health Care Scheme will be operated by National Insurance Company and fund will be deposited to the Company according to requirement.
As reported earlier, 117.80 lakh rupees has been sanctioned by Asian Development Bank to enable the Government to operate the Health Care Scheme. In addition to this, the Government will also get financial assistance from the Rastryia Swastha Bima Yojana. Enrollment of beneficiaries will begin as soon as training of the operators is completed by the end of this month.
