Aizawl: In a schoking incident H.V Lalthawma of Sihphir Damveng allegedly shot his son, Lalruatfela with a shot gun on June 28 night.
According to Bawngkawn Police sources, Lalruatfela succumbed to his injuries in Durtlang Presbyterian Hospital early the next morning.
The Police also said that the accused Lalthawma in drunken condition was listening to music in extraordinary loud tone. Advising him to stop the music, his son switched off the music player and enraged by his son’s action, Lalthawma took his shot gun and shot him at his chest.
Lalthawma was arrested by Bawngkawn Police and a murder case has been registered against him.
