The evolution of man itself is a complex issue. So is also the history of mankind. It is so extensive, complex and filled with details that this is a nearly impossible task to explain. So here it is, the history of the human race, in pictures from the beginning to the present day.
The common features in all the stages, you’ll find, are:- war, women, sex and intrigue. (caution: illustration may be explicit to some people).

The Bible is a collection of moral tales, some of which are definitely based in fact. But it’s certainly not literal history.
maybe you should go read the bibile again because adam and eve had three sons and no daughters therefore incest was impossible. God created other females out side of their family for them to marry.

I think that the overall message in the picture, and I am not argueing on weather its true or not, is that mankind has evolved, florished, and multiplied, by both subjegating women(sex), violence, and greed. And although human beings change throughout the centuries in their various cultures, and civilizations, their nature and additudes still remains the same. So in the end, we owe all of our technilogical advancements, discoveries, and acheivements, to those three things. Weather or not we realise it, or not, is a different story. And weather or not we will conquere the stars, or end up destroying ourselves, is also another story.
