World’s First 3D Sex Movie Released
You knew this was going to happen sooner or later. After the success of James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ the adult industry is now embracing 3D technology and has released its very first true 3D title.
Producer Mark Dorcel (the “Hugh Hefner” of European porn) has made history by releasing Kama-Sutra, the first 3D porn flick. The movie skin flick featuring Brigitte Lahaie, was shot using 3D cameras and requires viewers to use shutter glasses to get the full 3D effect. No sloppy 2D to 3D post processing here folks, this is the real deal.
Dorcel admits 3D porn won’t be for everyone, but insists some viewers will fancy the new format.
Film heavyweights Roger Ebert and Francis Ford Coppola have both ripped 3D movies as little more than a “juvenile abomination” and way to “make you pay more money,” but the adult film industry has been seduced by the new technology.
Kama-Sutra, from the French pornography producer Marc Dorcel (website NSFW), is reportedly the world’s “first 3D porn full feature film made for modern stereoscopic TVs,” according to Gizmodo.
Separately, Hugh Hefner has announced that he will run a 3D centerfold in an upcoming issue of Playboy magazine.
New technology has regularly been embraced by the adult entertainment industry, which has been called tech’s “quiet pioneer.”
The question is: What’s the difference if you are not into this kind of films. Does it matter at all?
