ANTI-CORRUPTION is one of the three main factors of establishment of Prism, the most active anti corruption group in Mizoram.
Prism believes in transparency for prevention of corruption and collects documents by Right To Information and discloses them.
Prism opines that corrupt people are the enemy of the state. And believes that disclosure and legal action not only make corrupt persons to give up their wrong doings, but also makes other persons to stay away from corruption.
So, Prism submitted suggestions and complaints to the authority, lodged first information reports (FIRs) to the state’s anti-corruption mechanism and filed public interest litigation to the high court.
Prism also believes that people need to be aware of the concept of corruption and thus launches awareness campaign by distributing leaflets, conducting debate and short story writing competition.
