Mizoram drivers union flays collection ‘un-authorised donations’

Aizawl: Zoram Drivers’ Union (ZDU) and Silchar Truck Drivers’ Association asked all the Department concerned to stop collection of un-authorized collection of donations at the Check Gates.
A resolution to this effect was passed in their recent joint meeting at Lailapur.
They also asked the authority to issue proper receipt whenever they collect tax or toll fees at the check gates or bridges.
The ZDU and STDA also agreed to cooperate each other whenever the drivers face problems because of bandh, accidents and other unforeseen incidents.
