Hepatitis Day observed in Mizoram

Aizawl: Along with the rest of the world, doctors in Aizawl Civil Hospital observed the World Hepatitis Day in the OPD of the hospital on May 19.
The Scientific Committee headed by Dr. Rosangluaia screened the blood of 131 persons to ascertain their status regarding hepatitis.
Of the blood of 131 persons screened by the experts, 5.3 of them were Hepatitis B positive and 9.9 of them were suffering from Hepatitis C. Wide advanced publicity was given by Scientific Committee earlier through ZONET and LPS Local Cable TV Network last night.
