Call for basic knowledge of Hindi in govt offices in Mizoram

Aizawl: Town Official Language Implementation Committee has called for faster propagation of Hindi in all the Central Government offices and Government Undertakings in Mizoram.
The appeal was made in the TOLIC meeting held in Information Department’s Conference Hall on May 14.
Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Director of Department of Official Language, Guwahati, Mr. Ajay Kumar Stivastav asked all the Central Government staff working in Mizoram to have Prabodh, Praveen and Pragya level Hindi knowledge as prescribed in Official Language Act 1963.
The meeting was presided over by the TOLIC Chairman, Mr. C. Lalrosanga.
