Mizoram Anti-Tobacco Squad to check smoking

Aizawl: The President of India Society on Tobacco & Health, Mizoram Chapter, Pi Lal Riliani said, Anti Tobacco Squad has been constituted to check smoking in public places which has been banned throughout the country including Mizoram.
Talking to reporters in Aizawl Press Club on May 17, Pi Riliani also said that the Squad will check and detect violation of the law and impose fine on the violators.
Interacting with mediapersons, the Nodal Officer of the Society, Dr. Jane Ralte explained the reason for banning smoking, public places where smoking is banned and the quantum of fine to be imposed on the defaulters.
