Pune, April 13, 2010: Former National Games and World champion Jenny R.Lalremliani has won a coveted gold medal in 75 to 80 kg category of women boxing in All India Police Meet held in Pune.
In the final bout held on April 10, Jenny defeated her opponent Neetu of Haryana.
According to official sources, her opponent was not matching the skill and strength of Jenny and the refree stopped the contest. Earlier in the semi finals, her opponent Aruna Mishra of Jarkhand had bowed out of the contest without facing Jenny.
