Aizawl, Jan 30, 2010 (Zonet): In view of class 10, 12 and degree course examinations to commence from February, the Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP) has asked Power and Electricity Department to ensure regular power supply to enable the students to concentrate in their studies.

In a press release, the MZP also asked the Government to make a clear cut decision over the issue of upgradation of 337 schools by the previous Ministry for ending tension in the minds of the students and the teachers.

The MZP also expressed regret over the confrontation between the teachers and the SSA over distribution of free text books and asked both parties to avoid confrontation by exercising utmost restraint.
