Cong completes one year rule in Lai Dist Council

Aizawl, Jan 16 (Zonet):The Congress Government in Lai Autonomous District Council completed one year in office on January 14.
In a function held in this connection at Lawngtlai, the Chief Executive Member, Mr. C. Ngunlianchunga said, the Congress Government in the Council has introduced a number of new things which are considered to be beneficial for the people.
He said, the Town Police Rules, VC Election Act and Rules 2009 and Entry of Vehicle Rules 2009 and MDC Pension Rules framed by the District Council have been sent to the State Government for its approval.
In this meeting, the District Development Board Vice Chairman, Mr. Hmunhre highlighted development plans made by the Board for the District Council area.
